About me:: Hi all--I live in Spokane Washington with my husband, Luke, and our 5 kids. Well, we are officially down to 3 1/2 kids. The oldest is out on her own after graduating in archaelogy from Boston University, and the 2nd oldest is about to graduate from the University of Portland with an RN degree (I figure we could use a nurse in our old age). Daughter #3 is on her way to Rome for a semester study abroad with the University of Dallas. Our two boys are 16 and 13. I have mostly kept the home fires burning, but I am considering going back to work when our youngest starts high school next fall. I have a degree in medical technology and hope to find a part time job in the laboratory. Luke is a systems analyst with a company here that works with hospital IT systems. This site brings back a lot of memories--especially as I help my daughter pack for her own European adventure.

Irene got her degree in Med Tech also ( they need to change the name of that degree so that it better reflects the fact that it is very nearly the same curriculum as Pre-Med. Irene is now an elementary teacher.

I am having a hard time believing the run-down of what your kids are up to. I remember babysitting them when they were barely out of diapers, and here they are off getting degrees and traveling to Europe. Hope you all are doing well, give my best to Luke.
