Joe--
Not sure about the distance and travel time either. Will check though. We will be in Prague Nov.25-29th. Let's hook up if we're there at the same time. You're welcome to swing down this way.

I am challenged when it comes to technology. Mike told me about this and I signed up, but couldn't figure out how to log in again. I had to wait for someone to write me so I could link from e-mail. Gees, I am so far behind the world. Good to hear from you.
Joe! Good to hear! Yeah, everyone is cutting back-this is going to be bad. I believe that it's worse than they're letting on and will only tell us about it AFTER we're coming out of it (my guess is two years). It's all "solemente abajo" from here.
Casey is working for the L.A. Kings (thank God he has a job!) in sales. He worked for the Dodgers in sales prior to that and got to be great friends with Tommy Lasorda, so he has some great stories.
Good to hear that Beth is stable with work-we all need one reliable income source.
Kaixo Joe! Estoy muy bien, como siempre.
I think that this could be a great idea and I wrote Mike thanking him for setting it up. How are you guys doing? You must be drowning from what we read down here. When are you coming down? Any time soon?
I went back to Spain this past summer with Marlys' cousins from Boston. They had never been out of the U.S. before, so it was quite an experience for all of us. We Went to Madrid, Barcelona and Euskadi (San Sebastian Guernika but not Onate). The Basque Country was the best, of course. My family has built a new home on some of their farmland next to the 300 year-old house. It's unbelievable. It sits on a hill that overlooks rolling hills and farmland with the Bay of Biskaia in the distance (about 3 miles as the crow flys). They were great and treated our cousins as if they were family. The couldn't believe it.
Drop me a line and get me caught up on Joe and Beth.
