I talked to Marilyn last night and I understand the dilemma you face and the decisions you have to make. Since every cancer is different, there is really no advice or counsel I can give you. But what I can give you is our support. We don't live that far from Dallas and if your appointments are not at rush hour the drive isn't bad. If you come down you are welcome to stay with us and we will help all we can. This is not an offer, it is a request. Let us know what we can do.
Marilyn was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma two years ago. She was stage 4 and went through hell. After months of chemo, she is now cancer free, but they won't use the words remission. She is fighting. I am sorry. Cancer sucks and the treatment is almost as rough as the disease. If you come down here please let us know. We will be here. In the mean time you are in our prayers.
